1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Santani App ("Santani", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Health Index application (the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use your personal information.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a guest, staff member, or authorized user of Santani App services
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
3. Service Description
The Health Index Service provides:
- Blood test result analysis and Health Index score calculation
- AI-powered health insights and recommendations
- Historical tracking of health assessments
- Secure sharing of results with authorized healthcare staff

The Service provides wellness information only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Health Index scores and AI-generated insights are for informational purposes and should not replace professional medical consultation.
3.1 Beta Service
The Service is currently in beta and under active development. Features, scoring methodologies, and data handling processes may change without prior notice. While we strive to maintain data integrity, beta software may contain errors or produce inaccurate results. By using the Service during this beta period, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
4. Account Responsibilities
4.1 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Using a strong, unique password
4.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and when using the Service. Providing false or misleading health data may result in inaccurate Health Index scores.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code or content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use the Service to process data for individuals other than yourself without proper authorization
6. Health Data Processing
By using the Service, you provide explicit consent for us to:
- Collect and process your blood test results and demographic information
- Calculate Health Index scores using automated algorithms
- Generate AI-powered health insights and recommendations
- Store your health data securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Share your results with authorized Santani resort staff
You may withdraw your consent at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Property
The Service, including its design, functionality, scoring algorithms, and content, is owned by Santani App and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
7.2 Your Data
You retain ownership of your personal health data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8.2 Service Availability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8.3 AI Limitations
AI-generated insights are based on general health patterns and may not account for your specific medical history or circumstances. AI recommendations should be considered suggestions only and verified with healthcare professionals.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Santani shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Santani shall not be liable for any health decisions you make based on information provided by the Service
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Santani, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Pose a security risk to the Service or other users
We will provide notice before termination where reasonably possible, except in cases of serious violations or legal requirements.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles.
For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@healbysantani.com to seek an informal resolution.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, unless you are entitled to bring claims in your local courts under applicable consumer protection laws.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Santani regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
